Breakfast by the Bed

Writing this blog in not a very good mood, but still feel like blogging it, before the inspiration faded, and before I am back to the isolated island again. When I am back there, I think it's gonna take me ages to blog... well yeah, its becaue I procrastinate sometimes, but Internet access is still huge problem...

Was talking to a guy friend of mine two days ago and he mentioned something about "sex in the morning", okay people, DO NOT ever think that I am a slut or a prosmiscuous woman who tries to solicitate something immoral here, I am about to write my personal experience of ... well, not the one I mentioned earlier, but a fabulous experience of having breakfast by the bed (guys, it's the real EDIBLE breakfast, not what you have in mind okay...)

Travelled to Singapore very frequent few months ago. M was generous enough to provide the guestroom in his house to accommodate me during my days there. The entire family has been great and warm. The morning before I departed from the house, when everyone was left to work, I was packing my stuffs in my room and someone knocked my room. I opened, it was his maid, carrying a tray with her. Guess what? It was breakfast!

Just  a glass or warm water, a glass of hot drink, toasts with peanut butter and fruits - all in a tray. I thankfully took the tray from her and placed it on my bed. Having ample of time before catching my flight, I took my own sweet time to enjoy the breakfast. With sunlight beaming gently through the window, I was sitting on the bed, reading Cecelia Ahern's "Where Rainbows End" and enjoy my breakfast, what a lovely morning...

My breakfast by the bed before my holiday ends, maybe Cecelia's Ahern should write something like "Where Holidays End" after this "Where Rainbows End"...

Well, breakfast by the bed will be even greater when it is shared with someone you love. How I wish, there will be someone gently waking me up from my sleep, wishing me a great morning with a kiss on my forehead and lay the breakfast before me. What to serve? Toast with honey, or even better, pancake with maple syrup or omelette (with cheese, mushroom and capsicum - guess I am asking too much huh??) and fresh fruits will be totally lovely! To make it an even romantic one, a glass of Veuve Clicquot will be superbly perfect.

Well, whether or not to have additional plus thing between both of you before or after the breakfast is yet another story - which I will not further elaborate here, this is a food blog hello....

Lotsa love from home in KL, before I go to bed.
T, thanks for the inspiration, and M, thanks for the fabulous breakfast (served by your maid in fact)...
