First Thai dinner in the Island

I told Shirley that I am bored and didn't know where to have dinner. The  socialite of Langkawi (almost like a Nicole Richie) was kind enough to bring me out for dinner (how sweet). We went to the much celebrated "Wan Thai" for some nice Thai food.

I have been starving for hours, have no extra energy to think of anything so I told Ms. S (initial for both Socialite and Shirley) to recommend the food. We then settled with pandan chicken, otak-otak and steamed sea bass.

Our dearly beloved socialite ... looking so pretty while concentrating taking food shots...

The pandan chicken ... taste better if the chicken is more tender...

I was very surprised when I see this otak-otak, the one that I usually have is flat, wrapped in banana leaves and tossed over fire. But this one is good too, very appetizing...

The steamed sea bass - or Pek Sak in Thai. This dish is fabulous, fresh and tangy with the spicy clear broth. Just so damn good!!

Fruit shake - pineapple (left) and mango. Perfectly blended with fresh fruit. A must order beverage (recommended by socialite too :p)

The food is pretty good overall, at a very reasonable price. For a sumptuous dinner like this, it costs merely RM 30 ++ per head. It's so far, one of the best dinner I had during my life in this small island :)
